My husband and I traveled to Bali, Indonesia in 2013. We decided to check out Bali because it was a quick flight away from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which is where we were living at the time.
Bali is an amazing travel destination. There are so many natural beauties and things to do. And, you can get a lot of bang for your buck there!
Here are 8 things you can do in Bali, Indonesia.
This was our first time surfing. It was a fun workout!
2) Visit the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud.
Beware! The monkeys will jump on you and take your stuff! Thankfully, all they did was pose for us.
3) Enjoy Balinese coffee (and tea).
I’m a tea drinker. Hubby is a coffee drinker. In the photo below I’m “roasting” coffee beans.
4) Enjoy the culture and arts.
Bali is full of people involved in artistic pursuits – dancers, traditional instrument players, craftspeople, designers, and more.
5) Go to the beach!
There’s a beach for everyone and every mood. Check them out!
6) Admire natural beauties while eating good food.
FYI, in the photo below, we aren’t standing in front of a backdrop. That’s a real volcano behind us. It’s Mount Batur.
7) Visit Tegallalang Rice Terrace.
There’s so much greenery!
8) Visit sacred places.
The Balinese are religious (mostly Hindus) and spiritual people. Check out their temples.
As long as you continue to care for the environment, we’ll always have beautiful places like Bali to visit.
